Chris was relaxed, friendly, informative, attentive and listened to my concerns about anaesthetic reaction to a drug I was taking. He explained in detail about what was happening and what I should expect; he was willing to answer any questions, nothing was dismissed. He would be an excellent teacher for all juniors about how to speak to patients, making sure they introduced themselves - something most junior doctors / nurses lacked at Worthing. Very pleased with the care I received at what was a stressful time. Many thanks.

Dr Marshall, at admitting took time to clearly explain what would happen for the anaesthetic in a caring, warm and engaged manner. He enquired about my asthma both triggers and it’s state, as well as my allergies and any issue with what was being proposed. He was positive and reassuring about the procedure.This was appreciated as it was my first operation at the age of 57 yrs. Just prior to the operation he was there as he said he would me reassuring and smiling, chatting away about a recent cricket match he had played in at my school. My whole experience was very positive.
